'He doesn't listen to me. He insists what we are wearing is fine': Guy takes fiancee to formal 21st birthday party without telling her the dress code, leaves fiancee "mortified"

This woman felt unbelievably awkward at a party after her fiancee failed to tell her an essential detail. 

When you get invited to a party, there are a bunch of questions that you'll need answered. Such as: who else is going? Do you need to bring gifts, food, or some drinks? Can your significant other join you? Will there be dancing, or is it a casual house party? How fancy is this party, and what should you wear? All of these questions will run through a guest's mind. But this person's fiance chose to avoid that last question, humiliating both himself and his fiancee. 

That's right, this dude tried to bring his fiancee to a formal 21st-birthday party while they were both dressed for a casual event. The birthday party was being held in a ballroom, with every other guest dressed to the nines! Instead of looking like a gorgeous, well-put-together couple, these two were the only ones in the entire ballroom who were dressed in street clothes. Props to this woman for even entering the event. It sounds like a totally embarrassing experience that wasn't her fault at all. Oh, and she dumped this dude, which is exactly what he deserves after putting her through all that.
